Matthew 27 Jesus Delivered to Pilate
มัทธิว 27 พระเยซูทรงถูกส่งไปพบปีลาต
1 When morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put Him to death.
1 ครั้นรุ่งเช้า พวกมหาปุโรหิตและพวกผู้ใหญ่แห่งประชาชนปรึกษากันด้วยเรื่องพระเยซู เพื่อจะประหารพระองค์เสีย
2 And they bound Him and led Him away and delivered Him over to Pilate the governor.
2 เขาจึงมัดพระองค์พาไปมอบไว้แก่ปีลาตเจ้าเมือง
Judas Hangs Himself
ยูดาสแขวนคอตัวเองตาย
3 Then when Judas, His betrayer, saw that Jesus was condemned, he changed his mind and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders
3 เมื่อยูดาสผู้อายัดพระองค์ เห็นว่าพระองค์ต้องปรับโทษก็กลับใจ นำเงินสามสิบเหรียญนั้นมาคืนให้แก่พวกมหาปุโรหิตและพวกผู้ใหญ่
4 saying, “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” They said, “What is that to us? See to it yourself.”
4 กล่าวว่า “ข้าพเจ้าได้ทำบาป ที่ได้อายัดคนบริสุทธิ์มาให้ถึงความตาย” คนเหล่านั้นจึงว่า “การนั้นไม่ใช่ธุระอะไรของเรา เจ้าต้องรับธุระเอาเอง”
5 And throwing down the pieces of silver into the temple, he departed, and he went and hanged himself.
5 ยูดาสจึงทิ้งเงินนั้นไว้ในพระวิหารและจากไป แล้วเขาก็ออกไปผูกคอตาย
6 But the chief priests, taking the pieces of silver, said, “It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, since it is blood money.”
6 พวกมหาปุโรหิตจึงเก็บเอาเงินนั้นมาแล้วว่า “เป็นการผิดกฎหมายที่จะเก็บเงินนั้นไว้ในคลังพระวิหาร เพราะเป็นค่าโลหิต”
7 So they took counsel and bought with them the potter's field as a burial place for strangers.
7 เขาก็ปรึกษาตกลงกันว่า ให้เอาเงินนั้นไปซื้อทุ่งช่างหม้อไว้ สำหรับเป็นที่ฝังศพคนต่างบ้านต่างเมือง
8 Therefore that field has been called the Field of Blood to this day.
8 เหตุฉะนั้นเขาจึงเรียกทุ่งนั้นว่า ทุ่งโลหิต จนถึงทุกวันนี้
9Then was fulfilled what had been spoken by the prophet Jeremiah, saying, “And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him on whom a price had been set by some of the sons of Israel,

10 and they gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord directed me.”

Jesus Before Pilate
พระเยซูต่อหน้าปีลาต
11 Now Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked Him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” Jesus said, “You have said so.”
11 เมื่อพระเยซูทรงยืนอยู่ต่อหน้าเจ้าเมือง เจ้าเมืองจึงถามว่า “ท่านเป็นกษัตริย์ของพวกยิวหรือ” พระเยซูตรัสตอบว่า “ก็ท่านว่าแล้วนี่”
12 But when He was accused by the chief priests and elders, He gave no answer.
12 แต่เมื่อพวกมหาปุโรหิต และพวกผู้ใหญ่ได้ฟ้องกล่าวโทษพระองค์ พระองค์มิได้ทรงตอบประการใด
13 Then Pilate said to Him, “Do you not hear how many things they testify against you?”
13 ปีลาตจึงกล่าวแก่พระองค์ว่า “ซึ่งเขาได้กล่าวความปรักปรำท่านเป็นหลายประการนี้ ท่านไม่ได้ยินหรือ”
14 But He gave him no answer, not even to a single charge, so that the governor was greatly amazed.
14 แต่พระองค์มิได้ตรัสตอบสักคำเดียว เจ้าเมืองจึงอัศจรรย์ใจนัก
The Crowd Chooses Barabbas
ฝูงชนเลือกบารับบัส
15 Now at the feast the governor was accustomed to release for the crowd any one prisoner whom they wanted.
15 ในเทศกาลนั้น เจ้าเมืองเคยปล่อยนักโทษคนหนึ่งให้แก่หมู่ชนตามใจชอบ
16 And they had then a notorious prisoner called Barabbas.
16 คราวนั้นมีนักโทษสำคัญคนหนึ่งชื่อบารับบัส
17 So when they had gathered, Pilate said to them, “Whom do you want me to release for you: Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?”
17เมื่อคนทั้งปวงชุมนุมกันแล้ว ปีลาตได้ถามเขาว่า “เจ้าทั้งหลายปรารถนาให้ปล่อยผู้ใด บารับบัส หรือเยซูที่เรียกว่าพระคริสต์”
18 For he knew that it was out of envy that they had delivered Him up.
18 เพราะท่านรู้อยู่แล้วว่า เขาได้อายัดพระองค์ไว้ด้วยความอิจฉา
19 Besides, while he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent word to him, “Have nothing to do with that righteous man, for I have suffered much because of him today in a dream.”
19 ขณะเมื่อปีลาตนั่งว่าราชการอยู่นั้น ภรรยาของท่านได้ใช้คนมาเรียนว่า “อย่าพัวพันกับเรื่องของคนชอบธรรมนั้นเลย ด้วยว่าวันนี้ดิฉันฝันร้าย ไม่มีความสบายใจเพราะท่านผู้นั้น”
20 Now the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and destroy Jesus.
20 ฝ่ายพวกมหาปุโรหิตและพวกผู้ใหญ่ ก็ยุยงหมู่ชนให้ขอให้ปล่อยบารับบัส และให้ประหารพระเยซูเสีย
21The governor again said to them, “Which of the two do you want me to release for you?” And they said, “Barabbas.”
21 เจ้าเมืองจึงถามเขาว่า “ในสองคนนี้เจ้าจะให้เราปล่อยคนไหน” เขาตอบว่า “บารับบัส”
22 Pilate said to them, “Then what shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?” They all said, “Let him be crucified!”
22 ปีลาตจึงถามว่า “ถ้าอย่างนั้น เราจะทำอย่างไรแก่พระเยซู ที่เรียกว่าพระคริสต์” เขาพากันร้องว่า “ให้ตรึงเสียที่กางเขนเถิด”
23 And he said, “Why, what evil has he done?” But they shouted all the more, “Let him be crucified!”
23 เจ้าเมืองถามว่า “ตรึงทำไม เขาได้ทำผิดประการใด” แต่เขาทั้งหลายยิ่งร้องว่า “ให้ตรึงเสียที่กางเขนเถิด”
Pilate Delivers Jesus to Be Crucified
ปีลาตมอบพระเยซูให้ถูกตรึงที่กางเขน
24 So when Pilate saw that he was gaining nothing, but rather that a riot was beginning, he took water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, “I am innocent of this man's blood; see to it yourselves.”
24 เมื่อปีลาตเห็นว่าไม่ได้การมีแต่จะเกิดวุ่นวายขึ้น ก็เอาน้ำล้างมือต่อหน้าหมู่ชน แล้วว่า “เราไม่มีผิดด้วยเรื่องความตายของคนนี้ เจ้ารับธุระเอาเองเถิด”
25 And all the people answered, “His blood be on us and on our children!”
25 บรรดาหมู่ชนเรียนว่า “ให้ความผิดด้วยเรื่องความตายของเขาตกอยู่แก่เรา ทั้งบุตรของเราด้วย”
26 Then he released for them Barabbas, and having scourged Jesus, delivered Him to be crucified.
26 ท่านจึงปล่อยบารับบัสให้เขา และเมื่อให้โบยตีพระเยซูแล้วก็มอบให้ตรึงไว้ที่กางเขน
Jesus Is Mocked
พระเยซูทรงถูกเยาะเย้ย
27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the governor's headquarters, and they gathered the whole battalion before him.
27 พวกทหารของเจ้าเมืองจึงพาพระเยซูไปไว้ในศาลาปรีโทเรียม แล้วก็รวมทหารทั้งกองไว้ข้างหน้าพระองค์
28 And they stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him,
28 และเปลื้องฉลองพระองค์ออก เอาเสื้อสีแดงเข้มมาสวมพระองค์
These soldiers were making fun of Jesus, treating Him with great disrespect, as if He was crazy.
ทหารเหล่านี้หัวเราะเยาะล้อเลียนพระเยซู ปฏิบัติต่อพระองค์โดยไม่เคารพยำเกรง ราวกับว่าพระองค์ทรงเป็นบ้า
However, they made for him a crown of thorns.

29 and twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on his head and put a reed in his right hand. And kneeling before Him, they mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”

30 And they spit on Him and took the reed and struck Him on the head.

Jesus was whipped and beaten before this.
พระเยซูถูกโบยตีและถูกตบตีก่อนหน้านี้
Have you ever seen a person really beaten up?
คุณเคยเห็นคนถูกทำทารุณเช่นนี้จริงๆหรือไม่
That's what Jesus looked like when they were finished with Him.

You couldn't even tell that He was a human being.

31 And when they had mocked Him, they stripped Him of the robe and put His own clothes on Him and led Him away to crucify Him.

Usually the prisoner had to carry the cross arm.

The post was already implanted in the ground.

The Crucifixion

32 As they went out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name. They compelled this man to carry His cross.
32 ครั้นออกไปแล้วได้พบชาวไซรีนคนหนึ่งชื่อซีโมน จึงเกณฑ์ให้แบกกางเขนของพระองค์ไป
Simon probably was a Jew who had come for the Passover, maybe he saved up his money up for years to come to Jerusalem.
ซีโมนอาจจะเป็นชาวยิวที่มาเพื่อฉลองเทศกาลปัสกา บางทีเขาอาจได้เก็บสะสมเงินของเขามาหลายปีเพื่อจะมาถึงกรุงเยรูซาเล็ม
If a Roman soldier put his sword on your shoulder, he just says do this, do that; and you had to do it.

They could compel you to do whatever they wanted.

All they had to do is take out their sword, and lay it on your shoulder, and that was the badge of authority.

They could compel you to carry their gear for a mile.

Jesus made reference to that earlier. He said, "if they compel you to carry it a kilometer, take it two" (Matthew 5:41).

When they say, "why are going an extra kilometer?"

It gives you a chance to witness.

So they compelled this Simon to carry His cross.

33 And when they came to a place called Golgotha (which means Place of a Skull),

34 they offered Him wine to drink, mixed with gall, but when He tasted it, He would not drink it.

35 And when they had crucified Him, they divided His garments among them by casting lots.

And they crucified Him, and parted His garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, “They parted My garments among them, and upon My vesture did they cast lots” [Psalm 22:18].

36 Then they sat down and kept watch over Him there.

37 And over his head they put the charge against Him, which read, “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”
37 และเขาได้เอาถ้อยคำข้อหา ที่ลงโทษพระองค์ไปติดไว้เหนือพระเศียร ซึ่งอ่านว่า “ผู้นี้คือเยซู กษัตริย์ของชนชาติยิว”
He is actually the King of the Universe.
แท้จริงท่านผู้นี้คือกษัตริย์แห่งจักรวาล
38 Then two robbers were crucified with Him, one on the right and one on the left.
38 คราวนั้น เขาเอาโจรสองคนตรึงไว้พร้อมกับพระองค์ ข้างขวาคนหนึ่งข้างซ้ายคนหนึ่ง
Two Criminals were crucified with Him
อาชญากรสองคนถูกตรึงกางเขนพร้อมกับพระองค์
Luke ลูกา 23: 39-4339One of the criminals who were hanged railed at Him, saying, “Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!”
39ฝ่ายคนหนึ่งในผู้ร้ายที่ถูกตรึงไว้จึงพูดหยาบช้าต่อพระองค์ว่า “ท่านเป็นพระคริสต์มิใช่หรือ จงช่วยตัวเองกับเราให้รอดเถิด”
40But the other rebuked him, saying, “Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?
40แต่อีกคนหนึ่งห้ามปรามเขาว่า “เจ้าก็ไม่เกรงกลัวพระเจ้าหรือ เพราะเจ้าเป็นคนถูกโทษเหมือนกัน
41And we indeed justly, for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.”
41และเราก็สมกับโทษนั้นจริง เพราะเราได้รับสมกับการที่เราได้กระทำ แต่ท่านผู้นี้หาได้กระทำผิดประการใดไม่”
42And he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into Your kingdom.”
42แล้วคนนั้นจึงทูลว่า “พระเยซูเจ้าข้า ขอพระองค์ทรงระลึกถึงข้าพระองค์ เมื่อพระองค์เสด็จเข้าในแผ่นดินของพระองค์”
43And He said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”
43ฝ่ายพระเยซูทรงตอบเขาว่า “ข้าพเจ้าบอกความจริงแก่เจ้าว่า วันนี้เจ้าจะอยู่กับข้าพเจ้าในเมืองบรมสุขเกษม”
All the people of the world are like these two criminals.
ทุกคนในโลกก็เป็นเหมือนอาชญากรทั้งสองคนนี้
Because first, all people are sinners.
ประการแรก เพราะเราคนทุกคนเป็นคนบาป
Romans โรม 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Second all people choose to believe in and follow Jesus or not.
ประการที่สอง ผู้คนเลือกที่จะเชื่อและติดตามพระเยซูหรือไม่เลือก
One criminal chose to believe in Jesus while he was dying on the cross.
อาชญากรคนหนึ่งเลือกที่จะเชื่อในพระเยซูในขณะที่เขากำลังจะตายบนกางเขน
He was sorry for the crimes he had committed and believed Jesus is the perfect son of God and didn’t deserve to die, and he asked Jesus to remember him when Jesus entered His kingdom and Jesus said, “today you will be with Me in paradise.”

The other criminal chose to not believe in who Jesus is and continued to insult Him.
อาญากรอีกคนหนึ่งเลือกที่จะไม่เชื่อว่าพระเยซูทรงเป็นผู้ใด และยังคงดูถูกพระองค์
So it has been throughout history and still today.

There are only really two kinds of people in the world, those who come to a point in their life, when they begin to believe in Jesus, often a point of crisis, and those who don’t believe no matter what happens.

39 And those who passed by derided Him, wagging their heads

40 and saying, “You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself! If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross.”
40 ว่า “เจ้าผู้จะทำลายพระวิหาร และสร้างขึ้นในสามวันน่ะ จงช่วยตัวเองให้รอด ถ้าเจ้าเป็นบุตรของพระเจ้า จงลงมาจากกางเขนเถิด”
41 So also the chief priests, with the scribes and elders, mocked Him, saying,
41พวกมหาปุโรหิตกับพวกธรรมาจารย์และพวกผู้ใหญ่ ก็เยาะเย้ยพระองค์ว่า
42 “He saved others; He cannot save himself. He is the King of Israel; let Him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in Him.
42 “เขาช่วยคนอื่นให้รอดได้ แต่ช่วยตัวเองไม่ได้ เขาเป็นกษัตริย์ของชาติอิสราเอล ให้เขาลงมาจากกางเขนเดี๋ยวนี้เถิด เราจะได้เชื่อถือบ้าง
43 He trusts in God; let God deliver him now, if He desires him. For he said, ‘I am the Son of God.’”
43 เขาไว้ใจในพระเจ้า ถ้าพระองค์พอพระทัยในเขาก็ให้ทรงช่วยเขาเดี๋ยวนี้เถิด ด้วยเขาได้กล่าวว่าเขาเป็นพระบุตรของพระเจ้า”
44 And the robbers who were crucified with Him also reviled Him in the same way.
44 ถึงโจรที่ถูกตรึงไว้กับพระองค์ ก็ยังกล่าวคำหยาบช้าต่อพระองค์เหมือนกัน
The Death of Jesus
มรณกรรมของพระเยซู
From the sixth hour [that is noon] there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour [three in the afternoon]
จากชั่วโมงที่หก [เวลาเที่ยง ] มีความมืดตลอดทั่วแผ่นดินจนถึงชั่วโมงที่เก้า[บ่ายสามโมง]
45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.
45 แล้วก็บังเกิดมืดมัวทั่วแผ่นดิน ตั้งแต่เวลาเที่ยงวันจนถึงบ่ายสามโมง
46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
46 ครั้นประมาณบ่ายสามโมง พระเยซูทรงร้องเสียงดังว่า “เอลี เอลี ลามาสะบักธานี” แปลว่า “พระเจ้าของข้าพระองค์ พระเจ้าของข้าพระองค์ ไฉนทรงทอดทิ้งข้าพระองค์เสีย”
In Psalm twenty-two, you can see that God had prophesied this whole thing.

1 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, from the words of my groaning?

6 But I am a worm and not a man, scorned by mankind and despised by the people.
6 ข้าพระองค์เป็นดุจตัวหนอนมิใช่คน คนก็ด่า ประชาก็ดูหมิ่น
7 All who see me mock me; they make mouths at me; they wag their heads;
7 ผู้ที่เห็นข้าพระองค์ก็เย้ยหยัน เขาบุ้ยปากและสั่นศีรษะใส่ข้าพระองค์กล่าวว่า
8 “He trusts in the LORD; let him deliver him; let him rescue him, for he delights in him!”
8 เขามอบตัวไว้กับพระเจ้า ให้พระองค์ทรงช่วยเขาสิ ให้พระองค์ช่วยเขา เพราะพระองค์ทรงพอพระทัยในเขา
11 Be not far from me, for trouble is near, and there is none to help.
11 ขออย่าทรงห่างไกลข้าพระองค์ เพราะความยากลำบากอยู่ใกล้ และไม่มีผู้ใดช่วยได้เลย
12 Many bulls encompass me; strong bulls of Bashan surround me;
12 เหล่าโคผู้ล้อมข้าพระองค์ โคผู้แข็งแรงแห่งบาชานล้อมข้าพระองค์ไว้
13 they open wide their mouths at me, like a ravening and roaring lion.
13 มันอ้าปากกว้างเข้าใส่ข้าพระองค์ ดั่งสิงห์ขณะกัดฉีกและคำรามร้อง
14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint; my heart is like wax; it is melted within my breast;

15 my strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to my jaws; you lay me in the dust of death.

17 I can count all my bones—they stare and gloat over me;

18 they divide my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots.

19 But you, O LORD, do not be far off! O you my help, come quickly to my aid

Jesus was willing to do this for you and for me, because He loves us so much.

Let’s return to Matthew 27:47

47 And some of the bystanders, hearing it, said, “This man is calling Elijah.”

48 And one of them at once ran and took a sponge, filled it with sour wine, and put it on a reed and gave it to Him to drink.

50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up His spirit.

He said, "no man takes my life from Me, I give My life."

They didn't take His life. He said, "I have the power to lay down My life, and I have the power to take it up again, no man takes My life."

He had the power to say to His spirit, "All right you may leave the body now."

But the cry that He made, that other loud cry was the cry of victory. It is finished. The redemption of man is complete.

51 And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And the earth shook, and the rocks were split.
51 และดูเถิด ม่านในพระวิหารก็ขาดออกเป็นสองท่อน ตั้งแต่บนตลอดล่าง แผ่นดินก็ไหว ศิลาก็แตกออกจากกัน
The veil being torn from the top down, showed that God was now opening a door of communication between He and mankind.
ม่านถูกฉีกขาดจากด้านบนลงล่าง แสดงให้เห็นว่าพระเจ้าตอนนี้ทรงเปิดประตูแห่งการสื่อสารระหว่างพระองค์กับมวลมนุษยชาติ
No longer was it the case that the High Priest only could enter the Holy of Holies once a year and pray on behalf of the people, now every believer has access to the throne of God in prayer.

God is declaring "come on in."

The provision has now been made for your sins, for you to be forgiven, and now you can have access to God through Jesus Christ, who has entered through the veil for us, in order that He might make access for each of us to come to God.

52 The tombs also were opened. And many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised,

55 There were also many women there, looking on from a distance, who had followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering to him,
