Now, 42 years after it aired, the show has such deep impact and even more meaning than it did in 1974.This is a story that is humorous, thought provoking, and serious at times.Nobody suspected what Gary Dee had in mind throughout this series of programs. This story has an ending with a twist, but I won't spoil it for you. Gary Dee Attends His Own Funeral EXTRA (Pt1) The following hour after “The Finale” in Public Square, Downtown Cleveland, Ohio Dr. Count Manalesco, or as Gary called him Dr. Voodoo, after doing a personal appearance at “Gary's Funeral”, he headed back to the WERE studios for his 10 AM show. The show continued with comments from listeners about what Gary and WERE just pulled off. I hope you enjoy. Local and CBS Network News at 10 AM. After the news Bob Price (WERE newsman) introduces “His Excellency”, Count John Manalesco. Dr. Manalesco, continues the theme of Gary Dee's funeral by continuing the discussion, and the psychology of Gary Dee's intentions of a “mock” funeral.
