DAY 10: Psalms: The Songbook of Israel - Psalms 22, 23, 32, 51, 84, 103, 121, 139:1-18, 23-24

The Psalms, written by several different authors and spanning the entire Old Testament history of Israel, range in topic and style. Psalm 22 is written by David and is quoted by Christ as He suffers on the cross. Psalms 32 and 51 are also credited to David and written in response to Nathans rebuke for his sins regarding Bathsheba and her husband. Psalms 23, 103, 139 are composed by David and express the great mercy, wisdom, and blessings of the Lord. Psalms 84 and 121 praise the Lord for His faithfulness and express enjoyment of His presence.
