Chris Caggs is a force to reckon with in the radio jockeying industry of Australia as he is always in demand thanks to loyal listeners who can’t get enough of his unique broadcasting techniques wherein he plays a mix of the best Hip-Hop, Dance and RnB tunes
USA (April 29, 2014): In the competitive world of radio, one name that stands out as far as radio jockeying is concerned, in Australia, is that of Chris Caggs. He is all set to broadcast his music podcasts on Shakedown Radio and enthrall listeners with his heady combination of the best Hip-Hop, Dance and RnB tracks.
Chris Caggs has had vast experience with radio jockeying in his 16 year old career. He hosted on all 3 monthly seasons of Groove FM 96.9 & 94.5 Sydney’s test broadcasts for the popular ‘Groove FM Breaky Show’ which was broadcasted for the first time on 1st October 1999 broadcast. Caggs also played for Wild FM studio's and Roberts Media for their December 2000/January 2001 broadcasts wherein he managed to attract the attention of more than 200,000 listeners and was assisting the Station Manager in recording music as well as preparing music logs as well.
Chris was also actively involved with Groove FM 97.3 Brisbane's 1st 6 week broadcast that was done from Pulse FM studios and presented ‘The Breakfast Show’. He interviewed his father, Gavin Carragher, an Australian Olympian sprinter from the 1956 Melbourne Olympics, and RnB sensation ‘Joe’ known for hits like "The One For Me", "I'm In Luv" and "Stutter". Thanks to Caggs immense contribution through his work, Groove FM managed to gain sponsors such as General Pants Co, Coca Cola, Sportsgirl, STA Travel and various high profile nightclubs.

Chris Caggs kick started his 16 year old career in broadcasting as a radio DJ from 1998 via various Dance and RnB Community Radio Stations located in Sydney and Brisbane. His other interests include music, films, TV, surfing the net, socializing and travelling. He is an avid traveler who has visited 24 countries which include New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Asia, UK and Europe, among others.
