Indifference doesn’t necessarily have to be a bad thing, especially when it comes to dating. Indifference to all the negativity that surrounds dating can be one of the best tools modern daters can use to deal with the nightmare that is Modern Dating. If you’re Indifferent about the things that don't matter (rejections, the friendzone, bad dates, why everyone on Tinder keeps sending dick pics, etc.), then caring about what does matter becomes a whole lot easier.

The Tao of Indifference is a dating advice podcast dedicated to advice that helps people navigate a dating world full of disappointments, dishonesty, and disingenuous people.

Your hosts are Demetrius and Delaney. Demetrius is the creator, writer, and editor of the Tao of Indifference blog. Since 2013, Demetrius was written over 200+ posts on dating advice topics ranging from when to sext, what happens when you "ghost", how to deal with rejection, how to get out of the friendzone, and dozens of other topics. He's been featured on NPR, Thought Catalog, The Guidance Girl, Date Daily, and Online Dating University. Delaney is a single dad in his 20's who provides a great counterpoint to the 10+ years of knowledge and experience in dating and online dating that Demetrius brings to the show.

The advice and tips on The Tao of Indifference are all focused on showing people how to date better by using direct, honest advice that can be used by people in all walks of life and at any stage in their love life. Whether you're recently single and reentering the dating world, a seasoned dater, a single parent, new to online dating, or in a relationship, you'll find tips that can help you find love and happiness and maintain love and happiness.

Ep.71 - How much older or younger can you date?

First podcast of 2016 and I have to say, it's one of the best. We're talking dating and age and it's as uncomfortable as you might expect. What starts as a discussion about our own personal preferences turns into a deeper dive into what age ranges we think work for daters of all ages. Are you 45 and wondering what would be an appropriate age to date going younger? What about if you're 30? or 25?

We tried to look at the topic from all angles, share or own personal experiences, and we talk about how much older a woman would have to be for my mother to not be cool with me dating her.
